ABOUT US

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 — “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

What does 2 Corinthians 9 teach us?

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 This verse encourages believers to accept and follow the life-changing path of Jesus, who values generosity, humility, and weakness. “God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (9:8). God is generous and provides everything we need.  He wants us to do many good works, and generosity is part of that. "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously (6). The success of the harvest is directly proportional to the amount of seed sown.”

As Christians, we must sow the seeds of word individually and collectively. We must dedicate our time, talents, and resources; and that includes our finances to continue the cause of the gospel of Christ in our regions, across our nation, and to the ends of the earth. Instead of wasting time and resources on trivial matters, we devote ourselves to God's things.

Jesus Christ must take precedence in our lives and over our lives. God blesses those who give willingly: “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Cor 9:8).
