Community Updates: Hunger Crisis relief for Haiti (2020)

Hunger crisis Relief for Haiti this program is to support those who are very affected economically by the COVID-19 and giving opportunity for people to share God’s blessings to others by creating a Food Pantry.

Before the pandemic Haitian were living below the poverty line which means people are living on less than $1 dollar a day. Most people in Haiti aren't even capable of 1 meal a day. After the massive earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010, many Haitians were sheltered, food insecurity, and unemployed.

The pandemic is making everything worse than it was. More people get sick, people are dying from hunger, insecurity all over the country, inflation is increasing up to 20%. Over all, the Covid-19 is hurting the country very deeply. Sharing Blessings to Others count on its supporters to assist those who are in need

The Impact?

With financial contributions from community members.100 people received the blessing of food supplies at a time when some did not know where their next meal was coming from.
